Gaza City, often simply called Gaza, is a city in the , Palestine, and the capital of the Gaza Governorate. Located on the Mediterranean coast, 76.6 kilometres southwest of , it was home to .

Al-Ahli Arab Baptist Hospital, usually called the Baptist Hospital for short, is a hospital in the . Its headquarters are located in the Zeitoun neighborhood in the south of Gaza City, , and it is managed by the Episcopal Church in Jerusalem.

The parish includes a school which provides a Christian education to children in Gaza, and it works closely with the nearby religious congregations of the Missionaries of Charity, Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matará, and the Rosary Sisters.
