Talpiot

Talpiot is an Israeli neighborhood in southeastern Jerusalem, established in 1922 by Zionist pioneers. It was built as a garden suburb on land purchased by the Tel Aviv-based Palestine Land Development Company and other Jewish building societies.

The Jerusalem Indian War Cemetery is a Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery in Jerusalem for fallen servicemen of India in the World War I. The cemetery is located in the southern neighbourhood of Talpiot, on Korei HaDorot Street.

Museum for Islamic Art

The L. A. Mayer Museum for Islamic Art is an art museum in Jerusalem, established in 1974. Located on the corner of HaPalmach Street in Katamon, near the Jerusalem Theatre, it houses Islamic pottery, textiles, jewelry, ceremonial objects and other Islamic cultural artifacts and a rare clocks' collection.

Arnona is a neighborhood in southern Jerusalem, situated between the neighborhood of Talpiot and kibbutz Ramat Rachel. Today Arnona and Talpiot are used interchangeably with no real distinction between them.
