Ariel is an Israeli settlement in "Area C", within the north-central West Bank. It is approximately 40 km east of Tel-Aviv and 30 km east of Petah Tikva. It is beside the Palestinian town of Salfit.

Khirbat Qais is a Palestinian village in the Salfit Governorate in the northern West Bank. In 2010 it became a suburb of Salfit, about 4 km south of Salfit. Khirbat al-Qais is situated 2½ km south of Salfit.

Farkha is a Palestinian village in the Salfit Governorate in the northern West Bank, 30 kilometers south of Nablus. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, it had a population of 1,650 in 2017. Farkha is situated 3½ km southwest of Salfit.
