Qumran

The Dead Sea has its western coast in Israel and the West Bank. It is the lowest point in the world at 394.6 m below sea level. 25 km of Dead Sea coastline lie within Palestinian Authority territory, including Qumran and Ein Feshka. Qumran is situated 4 km northeast of Ra’s Fashkhah.

Einot Tsukim Nature Reserve

Ein Feshkha or Einot Tzukim is a 2,500-hectare nature reserve and archaeological site on the north-western shore of the Dead Sea, about 3 km south of Qumran in the West Bank.

Khirbet Mazin

Khirbet Mazin, Hebrew name: Metzad Kidron is an archaeological site on the northwestern shore of the Dead Sea. It is situated on the inlet of Wadi Mazin north of Kidron stream by the northwest shore of the Dead Sea. Khirbet Mazin is situated 3 km south of Ra’s Fashkhah.

Ovnat is a small Israeli settlement in the West Bank, Palestine, on the western shore of the Dead Sea, about 7 km south of Kalya and 12 km north of Mitzpe Shalem. Ovnat is situated 3½ km south of Ra’s Fashkhah.

Kalya is an Israeli settlement organized as a kibbutz in the West Bank. It was originally established in 1929 but was occupied and destroyed by the Jordanians in 1948; it was later rebuilt in 1968 after the Six-Day War. Kalya is situated 5 km northeast of Ra’s Fashkhah.

Almog

Almog is an Israeli settlement in the West Bank, near the northwestern shores of the Dead Sea, in the Jordan Rift Valley, organized as a kibbutz. It is under the jurisdiction of the Megilot Regional Council. Almog is situated 9 km north of Ra’s Fashkhah.
