Arad Fort is a 15th-century fort in Arad, Bahrain. Formerly guarding a separate island of its own, the fort and its surroundings have since been joined to Muharraq Island through land reclamation.

Al Hidd is a town in Bahrain, located on a sand spit on the southeastern extremity of Muharraq Island. The town, which has a large native Sunni population, is well known for its rich sea crabs as well as its clear blue seas. Al Hidd is situated 4 km southeast of Muharraq Island.
