Khirbet al-Qaryatayn is a ruin c. 20 km south of Hebron and a few kilometres southeast of as-Samuʿ. It is identified with Biblical Kerioth, allotted to Judah in the Negeb. Tel Qeriyyot is situated 1 km northwest of Tel Qeriyyot.
