Tel Qashish, also spelled Tel Kashish or Tell el-Qassis in Arabic, is a tell located in the northwestern Jezreel Valley, on the north bank of the Kishon River.

Yokneam–Kfar Yehoshua railway station is an Israel Railways passenger station situated on the Jezreel Valley railway. The station serves Yokneam Illit, Kiryat Tiv'on, Ramat Yishai and the surrounding area. Yokneam – Kfar Yehoshua is situated 2½ km southeast of Qiryat Haroshet.

Oranim is a college of education in northern Israel. The college was founded in 1951 by the United Kibbutz Movement. It was named after the small forest of pine trees in the area.
