al-Bassa was a Palestinian Arab village in the Mandatory Palestine's Acre Subdistrict. It was situated close to the Lebanese border, 19 kilometers north of the district capital, Acre, and 65 meters above sea level. Al-Bassa is situated 1½ km northeast of H̱orbat Kenesiyya.

Akhzivland is a micronation between the Israeli town of Nahariya and the Lebanese border on the Mediterranean coast of northern Israel, founded by Eli Avivi in 1971.
