Usha was an ancient Jewish town in the western part of Galilee. It was identified in the late 19th century by Victor Guérin, who found the ruins on which the Arab village of Hawsha was built. Hirbet Usha is situated 3 km south of Gile‘am.

The Ein Afek Nature Reserve is a nature reserve in the Acre Valley within the Zvulun Valley, Israel. It covers the swamps and springs at the source of the Na'aman River, as well as the Tel Afek archaeological site. Ein Afek Nature Reserve is situated 3½ km northwest of Gile‘am.
