Nahal Gerar, also Nachal Grar is a in , in the desert. Its Arabic name is Wadi esh-Sheri'a. Along this wadi, there are several important ancient Bronze Age archaeological sites.

Tell Jemmeh or Tell Gemmeh, also known in Hebrew as or Tel Re'im, is a prominent mound, or tell, located in the region of the northwestern and the southern of , about 12 km south of , bounded by the kibbutz of 2 km to the east, and the kibbutz of Kisufim 6 km to the west, and is 9 km east of the Mediterranean coast.
