Ramat David Airbase is an Israeli Air Force base located 20 km southeast of Haifa in the Northern District of Israel, close to kibbutz Ramat David in the Jezreel Valley. Ramat David Airbase is situated 3½ km south of Beit She’arim.

Tel Shem, or Tell esh Shemmam, is an archaeological site located south of Kfar Yehoshua, in the Jezreel Valley, northern Israel. The Nahalal stream, a tributary of the Kishon River, flows east of the site. Tel Shem is situated 3½ km southwest of Beit She’arim.
