Qafzeh Cave

Qafzeh Cave, or Kedumim Cave, is a prehistoric archaeological site located at the bottom of Mount Precipice in the Jezreel Valley of Lower Galilee south of Nazareth, Israel. Qafzeh Cave is situated 3½ km east of Ya‘ar Balfour.

Mount Precipice, also known as Mount of Precipitation, Mount of the Leap of the Lord and Mount Kedumim is located just outside the southern edge of Nazareth, 2.0 km southwest of the modern city center. Mount Precipice is situated 4 km east of Ya‘ar Balfour.

Ginegar, is a kibbutz in northern Israel not far from Nazareth. Located near Migdal HaEmek, it falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2024 it had a population of 750.

Migdal HaEmek is a city in the Northern District of Israel. In 2024 it had a population of 28,430. Migdal HaEmek was established in 1953 as a ma'abara for Jews from Arab countries, before becoming a development town.

Yafa an-Naseriyye is an Arab town in Israel. It forms part of the metropolitan area of Nazareth, also an Arab locality. Declared a local council in 1960, it had a population of 18,837 in 2024, approximately 80.7% of whom were Muslim and 19.3% Christian. Yafa an-Naseriyye is situated 2½ km northeast of Ya‘ar Balfour.
