Kholmogory is a historic rural locality and the administrative center of Kholmogorsky District of Arkhangelsk Oblast, Russia. It lies on the left bank of the Northern Dvina, along the Kholmogory Highway, 75 kilometers southeast of Arkhangelsk and 90 kilometers north of the Antonievo-Siysky Monastery. Kholmogory is situated 4 km northeast of Khodchino.

Lomonosovo is a rural locality in Kholmogorskoye Rural Settlement of Kholmogorsky District, Arkhangelsk Oblast, Russia. The population was 163 as of 2010. The Russian scientist and writer Mikhail Lomonosov was born in the village. Lomonosovo is situated 8 km northeast of Khodchino.
