Saint Sargis Church of Tsovinar

The small church of Saint Sarkis is located in the foothills south of Lake Sevan in the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia. The structure was built between the 12th to 13th centuries and sits south of the village of Tsovinar on a promontory overlooking a small gorge. Saint Sargis Church of Tsovinar is situated 3½ km north of Karmirkharab.

The cyclopean fort ruins of Kaftarli are located 3 km south of the village, with petroglyphs being present downhill along the bank of the river, among additional historic monuments. Vardenik is situated 7 km northwest of Karmirkharab.
