Uttan is a coastal town just north of Mumbai in the Thane district of Maharashtra, India. A coastal town, it falls under the jurisdiction of the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation. Uttan is situated 3 km northeast of Outer Islet.

Gorai is a village at the Dharavi Bhet, in the Mumbai Suburban district, India. It is located on the north-western part of the island of Salsette. Gorai is accessed either by a ferry crossing the Manori Creek and the Gorai Creek, or by the overland route through Bhayander. Gorai is situated 4 km southeast of Outer Islet.

Dongri is a port city in the Mira-Bhayandar municipality of Thane district, situated just north of Gorai, Mumbai. The word 'Dungaree' has its origin in Dongri due to this genre of garment monolithically being manufactured from textile sectors within the confines of the city. Dongri is situated 5 km northeast of Outer Islet.
