Kala Patthar is a notable landmark located on the south ridge of Pumori in the Nepali Himalayas above Gorakshep. Although not a proper mountain, with a prominence of only 10 m, the ascent of Kala Patthar is very popular with trekkers in the region of Mount Everest since it provides the most accessible closeup view of Everest. Kalapattar is situated 3 km north of Khumbu Glacier.

Kongma Tse is a mountain in the Koshi Province, Nepal. Kongma Tse is part of the Mahalangur Himal and it has an elevation of 5,849 metres. It was formerly called Mehra Peak, but, it was later renamed Kongma Tse to avoid confusion with Mera Peak. Kongma Tse is situated 3 km south of Khumbu Glacier.

Lobuche is a Nepalese mountain which lies close to the Khumbu Glacier and the settlement of Lobuche. There are two main peaks, Lobuche East and Lobuche West. Lobuche is situated 3½ km southwest of Khumbu Glacier.
Khumbu Icefall

The Khumbu Icefall is located at the head of the Khumbu Glacier and the foot of the Western Cwm. It lies at an elevation of 5,486 metres on the Nepali slopes of Mount Everest, not far above Base Camp and southwest of the summit. Khumbu Icefall is situated 5 km northeast of Khumbu Glacier.
