Berau Regency

Berau Regency is the most northern of the seven regencies in province in . The capital is the town of Tanjung Redeb. The regency has an area of 36,962.37 km2 and had a population of 179,079 at the 2010 census and 248,035 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid 2025 was 308,020.
