Danao, officially the Municipality of Danao, is a municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines. According to the 2024 census, it has a population of 20,299 people. Danao celebrates its fiesta on December 30, to honor the town patron the Holy Family. Danao is situated 6 km south of Caban.
