Beaconsfield Mine & Heritage Centre

The Beaconsfield Mine & Heritage Centre is located in Beaconsfield, Tasmania. It was originally called the Grubb Shaft Gold and Heritage Museum. It was formed in 1972 after discussions were held as to forming a district museum, after which construction of the actual centre began, finally being opened in 1984. Beaconsfield Mine & Heritage Centre is situated 4 km south of Pease Creek.

Beauty Point

Beauty Point is a town by the Tamar River, in the north-east of Tasmania, Australia. It lies 45 km north of Launceston, on the West Tamar Highway and at the 2016 census, had a population of 1,222. It is part of the Municipality of West Tamar Council.

Beaconsfield

Beaconsfield is a small town of 1,093 in northern Tasmania. Perhaps infamous for the 2006 Beaconsfield mine collapse – one of the worst mining accidents in Tasmanian history, the quaint town on the western banks of the Tamar River is possibly one of the best places in Tasmania to learn about the state's gold mining industry.

George Town

George Town and Low Head are historic townships in Tasmania. George Town was chosen as the Northern Headquarters for Tasmania, but later abandoned in favour of Launceston.
