Craik is a hamlet in Craik Forest, by the Airhouse Burn in the Scottish Borders area of Scotland, close to Roberton, Scottish Borders. The area is renowned for its red squirrel population, and for its Roman history. Craik is situated 4 miles northwest of Teviothead.

Newmill-on-Teviot, commonly called Newmill, is a hamlet in the Scottish Borders, 7 kilometres south of Hawick on the River Teviot. The remains of Allanmouth Tower, a 16th-century tower house, lie to the south-east of the settlement. Newmill-on-Teviot is situated 4½ miles northeast of Teviothead.
