Dun Mor Vaul is an iron-age broch located on the north coast of the island of Tiree, in Scotland. Dun Mor Vaul is situated 1½ miles west of Salum.

Soa is an uninhabited tidal island off the coast of Tiree, to the south of the settlement of Ruaig. At low tide it is joined to mainland Tiree by a sand tombolo and numerous rocky outcrops. Soa Island is situated 1½ miles south of Salum.

Scarinish is the main village on the island of Tiree, in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. It is located on the south coast of the island, between Hynish Bay to the southwest and Gott Bay to the northeast. Scarinish is situated 3 miles southwest of Salum.
