Moidart
Moidart is part of the remote and isolated area of Scotland, west of Fort William, known as the Rough Bounds. Moidart itself is almost surrounded by bodies of water. Rois-bheinn is the joint highest hill in the Scottish region of Moidart, a title it shares with its neighbour Beinn Odhar Bheag, whose summit has the same elevation.

An Stac is the name of a 814 m mountain in the Northwest Highlands, Scotland, on the shore of Loch Ailort on the west coast of Lochaber. A steep-sided conical peak, the mountain is usually climbed in conjunction with its higher neighbour Rois-bheinn. An Stac is situated 2½ miles north of Moidart.

Lochailort is a small settlement in Scotland that lies at the head of Loch Ailort, a sea loch, on the junction of the Road to the Isles between Fort William and Mallaig with the A861 towards Salen and Strontian. Lochailort is situated 4½ miles north of Moidart.
