Linga Holm, commonly known as Linga, Midgarth and the Holm of Midgarth is an uninhabited Scottish island extending to approximately 57 hectares situated 700 metres west of Stronsay island in the Orkney archipelago. Linga Holm is situated 1½ miles south of Little Linga.

Backaland is a settlement on the island of Eday in Orkney, Scotland. The settlement is also within the parish of Eday, and it is located to the south west of the island. Backaland is situated at the southern end of the B9063. Backaland is situated 2½ miles west of Little Linga.

Whitehall is the village on the island of Stronsay, in the Orkney Islands of Scotland. It is a small village with about 50 houses. It also has a shop, a café and heritage centre, known as the Fish Mart; the Stronsay Hotel, with attached pub; a post office, a fisherman's pier and a ferry pier. Whitehall is situated 3½ miles east of Little Linga.
