The Falls of Kirkaig are a waterfall in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland in the county of Sutherland. The fall is located on the River Kirkaig, south by southeast of the village of Lochinver, on the main approach footpath to Suilven mountain. Falls of Kirkaig is situated 2½ miles southeast of Inverkirkaig.
Soyea Island

Soyea Island or Soyea is an uninhabited rocky island at the mouth of Loch Inver, in Assynt, Sutherland, in the council area of Highland, Scotland. It is three nautical miles west of Lochinver and two nautical miles south-southwest of Achmelvich. Soyea Island is situated 2½ miles northwest of Inverkirkaig.

Lochinver is a small fishing village in Sutherland in the Scottish Highlands, with a population of 651 in 2011. It's about 30 miles north of Ullapool. Lochinver starkly illustrates the plight of Scotland's fishing industry: many foreign trawlers land their catch here, but hardly any Scottish boats still operate.
