The Calanais Stones are a prehistoric stone circle and stone alignment on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The monument was built during the Neolithic period, around c. 2750 BC. Callanish Stones is situated 2 miles north of Grimersta.

Callanish IV is a prehistoric stone circle on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. It was built during the late Neolithic period, around c. 2750 BCE, and is one of several ancient monuments in the wider Callanish complex.

The Callanish II stone circle is one of many megalithic structures around the better-known Calanais I on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Callanish II is situated 2 miles north of Grimersta.

Garynahine is a settlement on Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Garynahine is situated at a T-junction where roads from Stornoway, Uig and the west side of Lewis all meet. The roads are the A858 and the B8011. Garynahine is within the parish of Uig. Garynahine is situated 2 miles northeast of Grimersta.

Calanais is a village on the west side of the Isle of Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Calanais is within the parish of Uig. A linear settlement with a jetty, it is on a headland jutting into Loch Roag, a sea loch 13 miles west of Stornoway. Callanish is situated 2½ miles north of Grimersta.

Breaclete

Breacleit is the central village on Great Bernera in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Breaclete is within the parish of Uig. Although the village name comes from a geographical feature rather than a steading it is generally believed to be an ancient settlement. Breaclete is situated 6 miles northwest of Grimersta.
