Castlecraig, also known as Craig Castle and Castle Craig, is a 16th-century fortification located on the north shore of the Black Isle in northern Scotland.

Foulis Castle is situated two miles south-west of Evanton in the parish of Kiltearn, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland. It is a white washed mansion that incorporates an old tower house with gun loops. Foulis Castle is situated 2½ miles southwest of River Glass.

Evanton is a small village in Easter Ross, in the Highland council area of Scotland. It lies between the River Sgitheach and the Allt Graad, is 24 kilometres north of Inverness, some 6.5 kilometres southwest of Alness, and ten kilometres northeast of Dingwall.

Alness is a town and civil parish in Ross and Cromarty, Scotland. It lies near the mouth of the River Averon, near the Cromarty Firth, with the town of Invergordon three miles to the east, and the village of Evanton four miles to the southwest. Alness is situated 3 miles northeast of River Glass.
