Farr is a large area in Strathnairn, about 12 kilometres south of Inverness, in the Highland of Scotland. Much of the area is spread along the B851 single track road.

Inverernie is a small settlement, with a local shop, within Farr and the wider area of Strathnairn in the Highlands of Scotland. This corner of Farr was originally home to Inverernie Estate before it was later sold in the mid 20th century. Inverernie is situated 2 miles northeast of Dunlichity Lodge.

Dores

Dores is a village located on the east shore of Loch Ness, 10 km south west of the city of Inverness, in the Highland council area of Scotland. The now defunct RockNess music festival used to take place in fields to the north of the village. Dores is situated 4½ miles west of Dunlichity Lodge.
