Gilwern Hill is a 441 m high hill in the Brecon Beacons National Park, south of the village of Gilwern in Monmouthshire, Wales. It lies west of the Blorenge. The hill is a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

The Church of St Elli, Llanelly, Monmouthshire, Wales, is a parish church with its origins in the 14th century. The church underwent three major restorations, in 1867–1868, 1897 and 1910–1911.
Ogof Draenen

Ogof Draenen entrance is located at Pwll Du, north of Blaenavon, Monmouthshire. At 66 kilometres it is the longest cave system in Wales and the second longest in Great Britain behind the Three Counties System on the Cumbria/Lancashire/Yorkshire border.

Pwll Du was a village in Monmouthshire, Wales. It was declared a slum in 1960 and demolished in 1963. The main employment was provided by nearby limestone quarries and by the iron works in Blaenavon.

Gilwern is a village within the Brecon Beacons National Park in Monmouthshire, Wales. Historically in Brecknockshire, it extends to either side of the River Clydach on the south side of the Usk valley.

The village is where the Grwyne Fawr has its confluence with the River Usk, southeast of the Sugar Loaf and at the junction of the road from Gilwern with the A40 trunk road. Glangrwyney is situated 2 miles north of Clydach.
