Carmel Head

Carmel Head is a prominent coastal headland on the northwest tip of the island of Anglesey. It is a designated SSSI because of its geological interest for the Carmel Head Thrust fault where Precambrian rocks have been pushed over younger Ordovician rocks creating the Carmel Head thrust.

The Skerries, coming from the Old Norse word sker, are a group of sparsely vegetated rocky islets, with a total area of about 17 hectares lying 3 kilometres offshore from Carmel Head at the northwest corner of Anglesey, Wales. The Skerries is situated 2 miles northwest of Carmel Rocks.

Rhydwyn is a village in the community of Cylch-y-Garn, in the north west of Anglesey, Wales. Rhydwyn is named after a little stream that once crossed the centre of the village. "Rhyd" meaning Ford and "Wyn" white. It now runs through a culvert under the road. Rhydwyn is situated 3 miles southeast of Carmel Rocks.

Llanrhuddlad, also spelled Llanrhyddlad, is a hamlet in Anglesey, in north-west Wales. It is located in the community of Cylch-y-Garn, 5 miles from Holyhead, 142 miles from Cardiff and 225 miles from London. Llanrhuddlad is situated 3½ miles southeast of Carmel Rocks.
