Kinlochaline Castle is a 15th-century Scottish tower house on the Ardtornish estate in Morvern in the Highland council area. It is also known as Caisteal an Ime because a Lady of Clan MacInnes, Dubh Chal, is said to have paid the builder with butter equal to the volume of the castle.

Lochaline is the main village in the Morvern area of Highland, Scotland. Historian ‘Philip Gaskell’ records that, at the time of the Highland Clearances, in about 1830, John Sinclair of Lochaline founded Lochaline village. Lochaline is situated 2½ miles southwest of River Aline.
