Huis van Hilde is the archaeology information centre and repository of the Dutch province of North Holland, which was opened in Castricum early 2015. It was named after a model and facial reconstruction that was made of a skeletal find from the 4th century and that came to be known as Hilde.

Bakkum is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Castricum and lies about 12 km southwest of Alkmaar. It has three satellites: the village of Bakkum-Noord, the hamlet Noord Bakkum and Bakkum aan Zee which is nowadays called Castricum aan Zee. Bakkum is situated 2½ km northeast of Geversduin.
