Bakkum
Bakkum is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Castricum and lies about 12 km southwest of Alkmaar. Huis van Hilde is the archaeology information centre and repository of the Dutch province of North Holland, which was opened in Castricum early 2015. It was named after a model and facial reconstruction that was made of a skeletal find from the 4th century and that came to be known as Hilde.

Kapel is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is located in the municipality of Heiloo, about 2 km south of Heiloo itself. The hamlet is named after the chapel of "Onze Lieve Vrouwe ter Nood", a pilgrimage site since 1409. Kapel is situated 3 km northeast of Bakkum.
