Ostend–Bruges International Airport, commonly known simply as Ostend Airport, is an international airport located 5 km south–southwest of Ostend, Belgium, near the coast and about 25 km from central Bruges. Ostend–Bruges International Airport is situated 4 km southeast of Stroom Bank.

Batimont Solar Park

Batimont Solar Park is a multi-use stadium in Ostend, Belgium. It is mostly used for football matches and is the home ground of K.V. Diksmuide Oostende and the former home of A.S. Oostende then K.V. Oostende. The stadium holds a capacity of 8,432. Batimont Solar Park is situated 3½ km southeast of Stroom Bank.

Walraversijde

Walraversijde is an abandoned medieval fishing village on the Belgian coast, near Ostend. It was rediscovered in 1992 in a dune area, near a medieval dyke. Walraversijde is situated 3½ km south of Stroom Bank.
