Mortsel is a railway station in Mortsel, just south of the city of Antwerp, Antwerp, Belgium. The station opened in 1895 on the Line 27. The station Mortsel-Deurnesteenweg is located just 100 m east of this station on the line towards Brussels.

Deurne is the second largest district of the municipality of Antwerp, Belgium, and has 85,283 inhabitants. It was a separate municipality until 1983. On 1 January 1983, it was absorbed into the municipality of Greater Antwerp whereby Deurne became one of the 9 districts. Deurne is situated 4½ km north of Mortsel.

Berchem is located along the old Grote Steenweg that has connected Brussels to Antwerp for several centuries; the town borders the districts of Deurne, Borgerhout, Wilrijk and Antwerp and the municipality of Mortsel.
