Galway City Museum is a museum in Galway City, County Galway, Ireland. It was founded on 29 July 2006, and is located beside the Spanish Arch.

An Taibhdhearc is the national Irish language theatre of Ireland. It was founded in 1928. The word taibhdhearc means "ghostly vision", from, "taibhse" meaning ghost, and "dearcadh" meaning "view".

The Claddagh is an area close to the centre of Galway, Ireland, where the River Corrib meets Galway Bay. It was formerly a fishing village, just outside the old city walls.

Galway is the county town of County Galway on the west coast of Ireland. It's Ireland's fourth largest city, with a population in 2024 of 85,000, but its historic centre on the east bank of the River Corrib is compact.

Salthill is a seaside area to the southwest of Galway city centre in the west of Ireland. The area is home to a number of tourist amenities and there is a 2 km long promenade, locally known as "the Prom", which overlooks Galway Bay.
