Milltown Malbay is a town in County Clare on the west coast of Ireland, with a population of 900 in 2022. Also spelled "Miltown", it's best known for its traditional Irish music, with a week-long summer festival.

Spanish Point is a village in the parish of Milltown Malbay in County Clare on the west coast of Ireland. It has many holiday homes, and in winter a significantly smaller population. Spanish Point is situated 3½ km south of Freagh Castle.

Lahinch is a small seaside resort in County Clare in the west of Ireland. In Irish it's An Leacht, "the peninsula" and also known as Leacht Uí Chonchubhair, "Cairn of O'Connor" for the chieftain slain at Dough Castle. Liscannor is situated 7 km north of Freagh Castle.
