Slea Head is a promontory on the westernmost part of the Dingle Peninsula, in southwest County Kerry, Ireland. It can be reached by the R559 road, with the nearest villages being Ballyickeen and Coumeenoole.

The Great Blasket is the principal island of the Blaskets, County Kerry, Ireland. It was home to a small fishing community of Irish speakers until the island was abandoned in 1953 when living there became unsustainable.

Baile an Fheirtéaraigh unofficially anglicised as Ballyferriter, or also known as An Buailtín, is a Gaeltacht village in County Kerry, Ireland. It is in the west of the Corca Dhuibhne peninsula and according to the 2002 census, about 75% of the town's population speak the Irish language on a daily basis. Ballyferriter is situated 8 km northeast of Dunmore Head.

Dingle is the only sizable town on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, some 50 km southwest of Tralee. With a population in 2022 of 1,700, it has a colourful town centre and fishing harbour. Ventry is situated 9 km east of Dunmore Head.
