Ballymote is a town in County Sligo in the northwest of Ireland. The town's population in 2022 was 1,700. It has a castle dating from 1300 but its main attractions are the prehistoric sites dotted around the surrounding countryside, the best known being Carrowkeel.

Tubbercurry or Tobercurry is the second-largest town in terms of both population and land area in County Sligo, Ireland. It lies at the foot of the Ox Mountains, on the N17 national primary road, and is 30 kilometres south-west of Sligo town. Tobercurry is situated 8 km west of Bunnanaddan.
