Carrowmore

Carrowmore is a large group of megalithic monuments on the Coolera Peninsula to the west of Sligo, Ireland. They were built in the 4th millennium BC, during the Neolithic. Carrowmore is situated 3½ km north of Ballysadare River.

Collooney railway station serves the town of Collooney in County Sligo, Ireland and is on the Dublin-Sligo railway line. It was the first of three stations to be built in Collooney and remains the only one still in service. Collooney railway station is situated 3½ km south of Ballysadare River.

Evidence of ancient settlement in the area includes examples of ringforts, souterrains and enclosures in the neighbouring townlands of Knocknahur North and Knocknahur South. Knocknahur is situated 3½ km northwest of Ballysadare River.
