Goresbridge is a small village located in the east of County Kilkenny, in the province of Leinster, Ireland. Goresbridge is named after a 1756 bridge, built by Colonel Ralph Gore, which provides a crossing of the River Barrow between County Kilkenny and County Carlow in the South-East region. Goresbridge is situated 5 km southwest of Ballinkillin.

Borris is a village in the south of County Carlow, with a population in 2016 of 652. The main reasons to visit are for events at Borris House and for hiking in the Blackstairs mountains.
Bagenalstown

Muine Bheag, meaning "small thicket", is the official name of the town known in English as Bagenalstown. It's in County Carlow and in 2016 it had a population of about 2,800.
