Kilkenny

Kilkenny is the county town of County Kilkenny in southeast Ireland, with a population of 27,000 in 2022. At its core is the medieval city founded by the Normans, and in the 1640s it was effectively the capital of Ireland.
Thomastown

Thomastown is a town in County Kilkenny, with a population of 2300 in 2022. It was originally called Grennan and grew up at a crossing point on the River Nore, 17 km from Kilkenny.
Castlecomer

Castlecomer is the largest town in north County Kilkenny in southeast Ireland, with a population in 2016 of about 1500. In Irish Caisleán an Chomair is "castle of the confluence", meaning the Norman castle at the confluence of the Dinin, Brocagh and Cloghogue small rivers.

Graignamanagh is a village on the River Barrow, which forms the eastern boundary of County Kilkenny in southeast Ireland. Gráig na Manach means "village of the monks" and refers to Duiske Abbey which is the place's main attraction.

Freshford is a village in County Kilkenny in southeast Ireland; in Irish it's Achadh Úr, "fresh field". Its main sight is the remains of the 14th century Ballylarkin Abbey, incorporated into a later church.
