King Orry’s Grave

King Orry's Grave is the largest megalithic tomb on the Isle of Man. It is situated in Minorca, in the northern part of the village of Laxey, partly in a private cottage garden.

There are about eight small places on the Isle of Man with the name Ballabeg. The name Ballabeg derives from the Manx Balley Beg which means small homestead; although the spelling is different, it is pronounced approximately the same as the English name.

Laxey is a small and very touristy village on the Isle of Man - its Great Wheel is an icon of the island. Laksaa in Manx means salmon, like the modern Scandinavian and German words, and the river descending steeply from Snaefell has a run of salmon.
