Raftsundet

Raftsundet or Ráktanuorri is a strait in Nordland county, Norway. The 25-kilometre long strait runs between the islands of Hinnøya and Austvågøya, mostly in Hadsel Municipality, but the southern end is in Vågan Municipality.

Digermulen is a village in Vågan Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located on the southwestern tip of the large island of Hinnøya. It is the main village of eastern Vågan since that part of the municipality is not directly connected to the rest of the municipality. Digermulen is situated 3½ km south of Raftsundet.
