Trollsletta

Trollsletta is a coastal plain on the North Arctic Ocean island of Jan Mayen. It is located on the eastern coast and southern side of the island. It is inside the southwestern part of the bay Rekvedbukta, between Båtvika and Helenesanden.

Jan Mayensfield is an aerodrome serving Olonkinbyen in Jan Mayen, Norway. Operated by the Norwegian Armed Forces, it serves the island's only population at the combined military and meteorological station. Jan Mayensfield is situated 3½ km northeast of Trollsletta.

Olonkinbyen is the only settlement on the Norwegian island of Jan Mayen. It was named after Russian-Norwegian explorer Gennady Olonkin, who participated in Arctic expeditions and served on Jan Mayen during several periods between 1928 and 1936.
