Sea Serpent Cove

Sea Serpent Cove is a small cove 1 nautical mile southeast of Vulcan Point on the west side of , in the South Sandwich Islands. Charted and named in 1930 by DI personnel on the Discovery II. lies at the southeast side of the cove.

is a tidal lagoon that occupies the west side of the central lowlands of in the South Sandwich Islands. The name, given by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1971, is associated in classical mythology with the geomorphologically similar nearby, Medusa being one of the gorgons.
