Bar Rocks
The Bar Rocks are a group of low rocks which lie near the head of Husvik Harbor in Stromness Bay, South Georgia. They were charted by DI personnel in 1928 and so named by them, presumably because their presence obstructs or impedes vessels approaching the head of the harbor.Places of Interest

Blechnum Peaks

Blechnum Peaks are three peaks, the highest 640 metres high, on the north–south ridge between Gulbrandsen Lake and Olsen Valley on the north coast of South Georgia. Blechnum Peaks is situated 3 km south of Bar Rocks.
Mount Barren
Peak
Mount Barren is a mountain, 645 metres high, standing west of Husvik Harbour on the north coast of South Georgia. Its name is descriptive, and was probably given by the Discovery Investigations in 1926–30. Mount Barren is situated 3½ km west of Bar Rocks.

Husvik is a former whaling station on the north-central coast of South Georgia Island. It was one of three such stations in Stromness Bay, the other two being Stromness and Leith Harbour.
