Pirassununga is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil, with an altitude of 627 meters. The population is 76,877 in an area of 727 km2. Situated in the southeast region of Brazil, the city is home to many important institutions, one being the Brazilian Air Force Academy. Pirassununga is situated 10 km southwest of Emas.
