Saba Island

Saba, known as "the Unspoiled Queen" due to the protection of its unique ecosystem, is a 13-km² volcanic island in the Leeward Islands. Since it is not a reef island, it does not have the sandy beaches most notable in the Caribbean, but rather mostly cliff faces and rocky shore.

is a dormant volcano in the . Its lava dome forms the summit of the island stratovolcano. At an elevation of 870 m, it is the highest point in both the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and, since the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles on 10 October 2010, the highest point in the proper.
