Great Thatch

Great Thatch is an uninhabited island of the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean. It is one of the westernmost islands in the territory. It is believed to take its name from the famous pirate, Edward Teach, although there is little evidence Blackbeard ever sailed in the Virgin Islands.

Whistling Cay

Whistling Cay is a 19-acre islet, situated 300 yards west of Mary Point on Saint John in the United States Virgin Islands. It is covered with trees and high cliffs in the north, where it reaches a 130-foot elevation. Whistling Cay is situated 1½ miles southwest of Callwood’s Point.
