The main Orono Post Office is located at 1 Bennoch Street in Orono, Maine. Built in 1933, it is a fine local example of Classical Revival architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Orono High School is a high school in Orono, Maine, United States. Founded in 1915, it is the only high school in Regional School Unit 26. As of 2020 it takes high school students who graduated from Indian Island School.
